Dex woke up at four so he could get a little work done and think about…things.

God, yesterday had been fun and crazy and panicky and hilarious, all at once. He’d wanted to be mad at Milo for telling on him before, but it was impossible to stay mad, especially since Milo was just so…open.

The playroom though.

God.

That was not like Cyr’s office. Not at all.

It was…a room to have lots of sex.

Lots of messy sex he figured because even the floor was rubber.

Did people really have that much sex?

He started giggling. Who was he kidding? He’d thought Cyr was doing it all day long, and he still had a twice a day tug-off habit.

Milo was pretty damn bouncy.

They had lots of toys, and the strange part was that they were displayed like multicolored art on little shelves all along the walls.

It was a penis wall.

Then there was the ‘not a penis’ wall.

The giggles got worse.

The not a penis wall made him a little nervous. He kind of wanted to touch things to figure them out because just looking at them was not quite enough information. Were they squishy? Hard? Did they bend or move? Not that he’d dared. He didn’t even dare ask.

And what was that thing that looked like a wand of bubbles?

One of those things had to be the size of a basketball!

Maybe not a real basketball, but it would totally feel like a basketball.

No. He knew about sex. He didn’t need basketballs to have sex. He didn’t need a wall of penises either; he and Cyr had two between them and that was plenty.

Hell, he wasn’t a virgin. He had a dildo in his office. It wasn’t the size of a basketball or even Cyr, for that matter, but it was nice. He hadn’t used it since he’d come up.

He tried to imagine Milo dusting that wall of penises all the time. What a chore. If he had a wall of penises, he’d at least put it behind glass doors. Yeah, that would work, a cabinet with lighting and maybe glass shelving too.

Some of them would even be pretty with lights shining through.

He glanced at the clock. Six thirty. Time to make a pot of coffee. He wandered into the kitchen, washed the icing off his hands, and started fixing the coffee. Banana muffins today? Cyr liked his banana bread…

Dex got the coffee brewing and grabbed his guitar, playing softly, letting his soul wake up. Distracting himself from all his thoughts, from all the bullshit that occupied his head.

This was a good way to welcome the light as it poured into the apartment. He didn’t get to play as much as he used to. He was busy these days.

“Good morning.” Cyr stepped into the front room looking sleepy, dark hair every which way, all wrinkled pajamas, morning stubble, and bare feet. Warm hands wrapped right around him. Cyr couldn’t have been awake long. “I love that sound. It’s very peaceful.”

“You’re up early, love.” He snuggled right in with a sigh.
